Residential design
Kitchens, drawn to be built.
The kitchen is where a remodel is won or lost. We design it first and design it completely: layout, cabinetry, lighting, power and plumbing on one coordinated set of drawings.
01 — Scope
Kitchens first. Then the rest of the house.
Kitchens
The specialty. Most of a remodel’s decisions live here.
- Layout and work zones
- Cabinet elevations and sizes
- Appliance and ventilation planning
- Lighting in three layers
- Counters, backsplash and glass
Baths
Small rooms where an inch matters.
- Wet-area layout and clearances
- Shower glass and enclosures
- Vanity and storage elevations
- Ventilation and lighting
Whole-home
When the plan itself has to change.
- New openings and wall changes, with an engineer where structure moves
- Window and door schedule
- Daylight planning room by room
- Finish schedule for every space
02 — Process
Four steps, no surprises.
You always know which stage you are in, what you will see next and what it is for.
- Step 01
Consult
We walk the space, measure it and listen. You tell us how you cook, host and live.
- Step 02
Concept
Two or three layout directions with plans and material palettes. You choose one to develop.
- Step 03
Drawings
The chosen design becomes a full set: plans, elevations, electrical, plumbing and schedules.
- Step 04
Build support
We answer your contractor’s questions, review shop drawings and visit at key stages.
03 — What you receive
One set of drawings. Everything on it.
A typical residential set. Sheets are added or dropped to suit the project.
| Sheet | Title | What it shows |
|---|---|---|
| A-001 | Cover & code summary | Project data, applicable codes and the sheet index. |
| A-101 | Existing & demolition plan | What stays and what goes, measured on site. |
| A-102 | Proposed floor plan | Dimensioned layout, clearances and door swings. |
| A-201 | Interior elevations | Every cabinet run, tile extent and pane of glass. |
| E-101 | Lighting & electrical plan | Fixtures, switching, receptacles and appliance circuits. |
| P-101 | Plumbing plan | Fixture locations with supply and drain notes. |
| A-601 | Schedules | Windows, doors, finishes, appliances and fixtures. |
04 — Portfolio
The work so far lives in drawings.
Residential photographs are added here as projects complete. Until then, the drawings are the honest portfolio: this is exactly what you receive.
Next step
Start with the kitchen.
Tell us about the room, the house and what is not working. We reply with next steps and a written proposal.
